Just had a big panic attack when I couldn't find the key to the lock on the TV that's stopped working (it's chained to a cabinet), nor the receipt for it. Then I couldn't find my shoulder bag or backpack, even though it was were I'd left it 10 minutes before. Am afraid to go out today, for fear I will be worse.

I've had some sleep now and I think I made some big mistakes yesterday that contributed to my panic attack. They are (in no particular order):

• I swapped groups. I think I should have stayed with Amnesty International;
• I forgot my inhaler. My asthma was playing up a lot in Sydney;

...turned out to be the one from Cardiff Station to Barnsley. I'm home - I walked here after catching the last train / rail bus / train to Cardiff, and walking the rest of way. Wasn't too bad this time as I had my hiking shoes on.

I went out for an early shopping this morning (Sunday). I went to Cardiff, returned some library stuff down the chute, caught a bus back to Glendale, shopped quickly in Coles and caught the bus home. I left about 8:05am and got home by 10:10am.

And yet, I feel totally upset. I'm not sure why. It's Spring Equinox today and I just feel fucked,

I went down to the university to help mycosys with his O-week stuff. It was a big disaster.

I couldn't find him, and when I tried to ring him his mobile just returned a "switched off" message. I was very stressed trying to do this, and was really having problems going into student services which was way too crowded. One of the staff from the level above ( Read more... )

Almost got runover this morning.

I decided to drive my car to Glendale so that I could go food shopping later. That was OK. I was going to the uni first via Wallsend, as I had a lot of library stuff to return. I parked the car, and figured that I had 10-15 minutes before the bus, so I went to Dick Smith and bought a travel Clock.
